We Live in Public: Here's Proof!

(Ondi Timoner and Josh Harris at Sundance/Photo from Cinematical.com)

Okay, in the case of this blog, it's only semi-public, since I don't exactly advertise, but after watching the new documentary "We Live in Public" at the Los Angeles Film Festival, I did come right home and turn on the computer. Ondi Timoner's film documents the story of Josh Harris, a truly unique character who starting pondering the potential of the internet's impact on society as far back as 1984. The movie is a chronicle of Harris' rise and fall on the cutting edge of web technology.

Notables in the audience included John C. Reilly, Isaac De Bankole (from Jim Jarmusch's latest picture) Ron Perlman, and Josh Harris himself. Ondi Timoner was also there to take questions after the screening.

We Live in Public is coming soon to select cities (and eventually computers) across these United States.

Full Disclosure: I spotted Ron Perlman in the lobby before the movie, so he may have been seeing something else. I also saw Andy Dick. We Live in Public!
