Familiarity is the magic word here. Why spend millions producing and marketing films with original ideas that viewers will have to take a chance on, when you can just do big screen versions of old TV shows that have instant name recognition? In recent years, the field has expanded to include movies based on board games, toys and theme park rides. This series will serve as a public service to movie lovers over 12.
